The statue is the tallest statue in the city of Zhaokun in Chintob Lushan. It is the second tallest statue in the world after the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, India. As of October 2008, the hill on which the statue stands is being rebuilt in two more steps, the top is 15 meters long. The total height of the memorial is now said to be 208 meters (682 feet). It cost 55 million to build, of which 18 million was spent on the statue. It was initially estimated that the statue contained about 1,100 pieces of copper.

The statue is located in Rio de Janeiro, an important city in Brazil. Millions of people flock there because of the uniqueness of this statue. The statue is considered to be the largest 'art deco' in the world. The sculpture's height is 713 meters stands on Mount Corcovado. In 1921, French sculptor Paul Landowska was commissioned to create the sculpture. Gradually its work continues. According to the sculptor's plan, its construction was completed after about 10 years. The purpose of the sculpture was to celebrate the first centenary of independence from Portugal. This granite sculpture is about 30 meters high. 

The statue is made in such a way that it looks as Jesus is spreading his arms and embracing the city. Surrounded by mountains and water, it is one of the most famous places in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Just as Jesus Christ is the symbol of Christianity, this statue is also the symbol of Rio and Brazil. Christ the Redeemer is so huge that it is impossible to take a picture of it with any ordinary camera. Many people try to take pictures from different parts of the mountain but some of the other parts are left out. The face of Jesus standing on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean floated to the tourists through the gaps in the clouds. It is the tallest bronze Buddhist. It is located on Ngong Ping, Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Tian Tan Buddha is 110 feet (34 m) tall and weighs 250 metrics. The statue is called "Tian Tan" because its base is a replica of Tian Tan, the temple of heaven in Beijing. Tian Tan Buddha is the largest bronze Buddha in the world. It took ten years to cast the huge statue.

The Thinker is a bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin. The work depicts a nude male figure of heroic size sitting on a rock. He is seen leaning over, his right elbow placed on his left thigh, holding the weight of his chin on the back of his right hand. The pose is one of deep thought and contemplation, and the statue is often used as an image to represent philosophy. There are 28 full-sized castings in which the figure is approximately 73 inches high.

It is located on a hilltop in the Queensford Dragon Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to the Thimphu Valley. It is considered the largest statue of Buddha. The statue is made of bronze and decorated with gold. 125,000 small Buddha statues have been placed in the Buddha Dordenma statue. Each of these thousands of Buddhas has also been decorated. The throne on which Buddha Dordenma sits is a large meditation hall.

The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. More than 700,000 laborers worked day and night to create this clay army. Estimates from 2007 were that the three pits containing the Terracotta Army held more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which remained buried in the pits near Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum.

One of the largest and oldest statues is the Great Sphinx of Giza. It is an epic feat of architecture and engineering dating back to around 2500 BC. It was 65 feet in height and approximately weighed about 20,000 tons. The statues are so ancient that no one is sure of their actual age. Most Egyptologists believe it to be built on King Khufu’s son Khafre, while others believe it to be Khufu himself.

The Statue of Unity is one of the most famous sculptures in the world. It is the finest sculpture created by the Indian Govt. in memory of Ballabhbhai Patel one of the leaders of India's independence movement. It is 182 meters long, it is the tallest sculpture in the world, about the height of a 60-storey building. The sculpture covers an area of more than 20,000 Sq. Mtr.  and is surrounded by an artificial lake with an area of 12 Sq.km. The initial cost of the project was estimated at Rs. 3,001 crore by the Government of India. Construction began on October 31, 2013 and was completed in mid-October 2016. The statue on October 31, 2017, is the 143rd birth anniversary of Ballabhbhai Patel.
